Dr. Boynton does frequent “BOTOX®” brow lifts which is very early changes gives the patients exactly what they need as far as lift and rejuvenation to the forehead in a 10 minute painless office procedure with BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport® injections. Some people desire a more permanent solution to improve the low lying brow (both men and women). Dr Boynton has advanced experience with endoscopic brow lift procedures which involve several small incisions hidden in the hairline that allow him to “access” the forehead tissues with a small camera (endoscope). Then the corrugators muscles (that cause the frown lines) are weakened and the brow tissues are elevated. This heals rapidly and incisions are well concealed in the hairline. This is a much faster recovery than the open traditional browlift incision that would cross ear to ear over the hairline. In some patients that need more than the endoscopic approach, Dr. Boynton performs a lateral subcutaneous lift which involves a small hairline incision at the top of the forehead on either side (not all the way across) and removing the excess saggy skin of the forehead to achieve a bit more lift of the brow and the incision heals at the hairline in a well-concealed way.
